That Vaccine Again

I make no apology for returning to that swine flu vaccine, because I believe the powers that be are hoodwinking us into accepting it. The vaccine is largely untested and is being rushed into production. The manufacturers are covering their backs with legislation safeguarding them from prosecution if things go wrong. That’s right - you have no comeback if you are damaged by it. The vaccine may contain a mercury derivative, which some think is poisonous, along with other chemicals which could disrupt the immune response. And we don’t even know if it works!

A recent report stated that in a survey of 216 family doctors in the UK, nearly 60 per cent said they would refuse to have the vaccine. In the same report one third of 1,500 nurses surveyed said they would not want the vaccine.

So where does that leave us, given that we are being warned of a more serious outbreak of H1N1 this winter? Don’t leave it to someone else, look after your own health. Current advice to improve your immune system includes: cutting sugar and processed foods out of your diet; taking an Omega-3 supplement; getting regular exercise; optimising your vitamin D levels; getting plenty of good quality sleep; dealing with stress; improving your digestion with a probiotic yoghurt drink; and washing your hands - often!
