Robotoy
As part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, DesignShop UK is showing a collection of limited edition art toys and apparel by Kidrobot (Aug 1- 31). Founded by designer Paul Budnitz, Kidrobot merges urban street trends, fashion and pop art in collaboration with top international artists with backgrounds as diverse as graffiti, fine art, fashion, industrial design, graphic design, illustration and music. Toy artists often create a limited edition series of only a few hundred or a few thousand highly collectable pieces. The Museum of Modern Art in New York has a number of Kidrobot toys in its permanent collection. DesignShop UK specialises in designer home furnishings and accessories by leading designers. Many items are exclusive to the shop.
