Paella Sunday
Skip the traditional Sunday roast beef and Yorkshire pudding and head for Barioja (next to its sister restaurant, Iggs) for a plate of paella. On arrival you’ll be served a bowl of olives, basket of soft bread with olive oil and a bottle of crisp white wine in a chiller.
Then a huge, round paella pan is placed on the table - a mountain of golden, saffron rice stuffed with tuna, cod, mussels, clams, octopus, calamari, green, red and yellow peppers and peas. The dishes serve two people (£10 p.p) and take 45 minutes to an hour to prepare, so phone ahead to book a table and pre-order.
